How important is listening?  How does one listen to discern his/her vocation or professional path?

The season continues VIA ZOOM on Tuesday, February 14th from 7:30-8:30 AM EST with a focus on the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders (Luke 6:47-49), and how each of us can listen, and discern his/her vocation or professional path.

Join in that morning for a panel discussion with Carolyn Woo, former President and CEO of Catholic Relief Services; Bishop-Elect John-Nhan Tran of the Archdiocese of Atlanta; and Rev. John T. Howren, Rector and Pastor at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus parish; as we seek to answer “How important is  listening?” and “How does one listen to discern his/her vocation or professional path?”

BELIEVES is a once-a-month speaker series ministry the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30-8:30 AM EST held either via Zoom or hosted In Person in the “Ministry Offices” at Christ the King Cathedral in Buckhead (2699 Peachtree) to promote dialogue around integrating faith in the work life for both business men and business women.

The 2023 BELIEVES sessions will be focused on “Living Our Faith According to Jesus’s Parables.”

Jesus’ parables are short, simple stories he shared to teach and illuminate how we as Christians can go through the day in our work environment seeking to walk with Christ and let the Holy Spirit guide our work decisions amidst the pressures and challenges faced in the work environment.
