The season continues IN-PERSON<\/strong> in the \u201cMinistry Offices\u201d at Christ the King Cathedral in Buckhead (2699 Peachtree)<\/strong> on Tuesday, April 11th from 7:30-8:30 AM<\/b> EST <\/b>with a focus on the Parable of the Persistent Widow (Luke 18:1-8)<\/a><\/b>, and how each of us can persist in obedience to God \u2013 personally and professionally.<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Join in that morning for a discussion with Rev. Dr. Marguerite Doctor, Providence Women\u2019s Healthcare OB\/GYN and Pastor at Mt. Pleasant AME Church; as we seek to answer “How do we persist in obedience to God \u2013 personally and professionally — and what can it look like, even facing an ‘internal judge’ or ‘internal widow’ within?<\/a>“<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

BELIEVES is\u00a0a once-a-month speaker series<\/b>\u00a0ministry the\u00a0second Tuesday of each month from 7:30-8:30 AM<\/b> EST<\/strong> held either via Zoom<\/b>\u00a0or hosted\u00a0In Person in the \u201cMinistry Offices\u201d at Christ the King Cathedral in Buckhead (2699 Peachtree)<\/b>\u00a0to\u00a0promote dialogue around integrating faith in the work life<\/b>\u00a0for both business men and business women.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2023 BELIEVES sessions will be focused on \u201cLiving Our Faith According to Jesus\u2019s Parables.\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Jesus’ parables are short, simple stories he shared to teach and illuminate how we as Christians can go through the day in our work environment seeking to walk with Christ and let the Holy Spirit guide our work decisions amidst the pressures and challenges faced in the work environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The nominal $10 registration fee for the event can be paid online when you register, or at the door. The fee covers the cost of the event and has provided funding to support CRHP (Christ Renews His Parish) scholarships in the past, and now\u00a0Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Downtown Atlanta<\/a>.<\/p>\n
